Contemporary Cactus #1 metal print by Pamela Shearer.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Pamela Shearer

There are patterns everywhere I look, in an animal’s fur, in flower petals, even in the ceramic floor of a kitchen. I want to capture and experience every one. So… I paint, sometime with intricate detail of pattern, sometimes focusing on color, but always with my re-found eyes. As a child and as a student, I always drew and doodled. Starting with designing fashion for my paper dolls and writing story books, to majoring in art in college and completing the Famous Artist Schools through correspondence, I always had some creative success. Everything I painted in college was sold or given away and as a young mother, I turned to sewing, crafting and creating with my children. Now my children are grown, I am retired...
