"I Must go Down to the Sea" is named for John Masefield's poem
which I memorized 50 years ago and carry with me always. I love the sea, I crave the sea and tried to put that passion into this painting. It was important to get it just right. Framed in a dark brown deco frame with 3” white and tiny purple mats.
